This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Rainora in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by Rainora (rainora.co) acting as the Data Controller. Rainora operates in compliance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye and is committed to fulfilling its obligations regarding the protection of personal data.

2. Personal Data Processed

Rainora may process the following categories of personal data:

Identity Information — First name, last name
Contact Information — Email address, phone number, delivery address, billing address
Order & Transaction Information — Purchased products, order history, return and support records, complaint records
Payment Information — Payment method information, transaction confirmation records
Note: Payment card details are not stored or directly accessed by Rainora. Transactions are processed through authorized payment service providers.

Educational Information (only for student discount applications) — School name, department, grade, student certificate
Technical Information — IP address, browser and device information, cookie data, website usage statistics
Marketing Information (subject to explicit consent) — Email and SMS communication preferences

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

Receiving, preparing, and delivering orders
Managing customer support services
Handling returns, exchanges, and complaints
Complying with tax, accounting, and e-commerce regulations
Conducting security and fraud prevention activities
Improving website performance and user experience
Sending promotional communications where explicit consent has been provided
Verifying student discount applications

Student certificates are processed solely for verification purposes and are deleted after the process is completed.

Article 5/2(c): Necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract
Article 5/2(ç): Necessary for compliance with legal obligations
Article 5/2(f): Necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller
Article 5/1: Your explicit consent

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared only to the extent necessary and in accordance with applicable laws with:

Shipping and logistics providers
Payment service providers
Technical infrastructure and hosting providers
Email and SMS service providers
Legally authorized public institutions and authorities
Third-party service providers within the e-commerce infrastructure, subject to appropriate security measures

6. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, and within the periods required by applicable laws.

Order and invoice records: Retained as required by applicable legislation
Marketing data: Processing ceases upon withdrawal of consent
Student documents: Deleted after verification is completed

At the end of the retention period, personal data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

7. Rights of Data Subjects (KVKK Article 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed
Request information regarding processed data
Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
Learn the third parties to whom data is transferred
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
Request deletion or destruction of personal data
Request notification of corrections or deletions to third parties
Object to outcomes generated exclusively through automated systems
Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

You may submit requests related to your KVKK rights through the following channels:

Applications will be evaluated as quickly as possible and no later than 30 days in accordance with KVKK Article 13. Additional fees determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply where applicable.

9. Cookie Policy

The Rainora website may use cookies for the following purposes: session management, remembering user preferences, website analytics, security, and marketing activities.

Non-essential cookies are only used with explicit consent. Users may modify or disable cookie preferences through their browser settings.
